Annually NCNW participates in the Back to School Barber/Stylist cutoff.  This event is sponsored by the BJ KIDS 91 Foundation which is a nonprofit organization founded by NFL player Brandon McKinney in 2006.  The organization was created to provide programs and activities that cultivate social and life skills, fosters social responsibility, enhances academic enrichment and encourages health and well being.

The DPS back to school rally with BJKids91 was a huge success on Sunday 8-12-18 at The Ponitz Technology Career Ctr.   The NCNW DAYTONN was represented as Glenda Redwine, her husband Leo and Daria Dillard Stone help serve parents from 10-3 pm. Hundreds  children left with book bags filled with school supplies (grades K-12).
